Successes from the LLP framework
As a member of the framework, we understand more than most the frustrations of in-house procurement teams during tenders. Whether that is the resources required to complete the process, or the length of time it can take to successfully source and check appropriate suppliers. Launching in April 2006, the framework has saved the NHS more than £850m, which is currently around £2m a week. These savings have been achieved through the support and engagement of members who actively participate to secure the best deals and services for patients.

In addition to the impressive savings sought through this process, the LPP has also delivered additional benefits to Trusts that include cost avoidance, increased patient safety and innovative treatments.
